About Me.

Preserving the Past, Shaping the Future

I am a passionate advocate for historical preservation and design with extensive experience in maintaining and revitalizing historic properties. My background, combining a Master’s degree in Art Education from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from Mount Holyoke College, fuels my dedication to preserving the architectural integrity and rich history of buildings while blending modern design solutions.

In my role as Co-President of the Baldwin-Buss House Foundation, I’ve successfully led fundraising efforts, raising over $1.2 million for the restoration of the 1825 Baldwin-Buss House, ensuring the property’s preservation adheres to the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Standards for Rehabilitation.  The Baldwin-Buss House has been selected to receive the Distinguished Restoration of a Community Anchor Award from the Cleveland Restoration Society and AIA Cleveland, which recognizes projects that have given new meaning to their communities through preservation of architectural and cultural heritage.

With over a decade of experience as a Design and Historic Preservation Consultant, I have worked on a wide range of projects, including the restoration of the 1830 President’s House at Western Reserve Academy and a 1928 Gambrel Cape in Chatham, MA. My design expertise spans sourcing antiques, curating art, and providing comprehensive interior design strategies that reflect a property's historical character while adapting to contemporary needs.
